GOAL
Tadelakt Workshop Tierrafino Stone a 2 day workshop includes learning the basics of Tierrafino Stone, the original Tadelakt from Morocco, by finishing an object and sample plates. After following the workshop you will have enough information to practice further yourself and to gain the necessary experience to carry out a project properly in the future.
CONTENTS
Theory
Tadelakt has a specific composition. We go through the natural process of release and absorption of CO2 and the process of Tadelakt’s own characteristics and application. Through slideshows we look at various applications at home and abroad (optional).
Substrates
The substrate of Tadelakt is a crucial part of a successful finish. The surface must meet a number of specific requirements, we will discuss this and advise you on what to do in a specific project.
Practice
Day 1: Finishing an already prepared wall or object with Tadelakt. All steps of the processing except the application of the olive oil soap are covered. You can also create sample plates with Tadelakt and with, chosen by you, pigments from our range.
Day 2: Treating the Tadelakt with the olive oil soap and polish with the tools. After this you continue to experiment with sample plates and special effects such as sgraffito and fresco techniques.

PARTICIPANTS: maximum 6 people, minimum 4 people per workshop.
CONDITIONS: your participation is confirmed with the purchase of a ticket. Cancel free of charge up to 14 days before the workshop, your registration will then automatically move to one of the following workshop dates or the full amount will be refunded to you. After the cancellation period, 50% will be charged and 50% refunded.
Tierrafino reserves the right to cancel the workshop up to 7 days before the start if the number of participants is too low!
