Clay fine plaster stucco “ Duro”

This wonderful fine clay plaster was applied to Villa Dali in Rotterdam by top plasterer Herbert Schuuring, transforming the house into a true gem in Tierrafino's long history. The colour selection was thanks to the residents and the architect, who studied all the samples we offered at length and with great care. Today, our Duro has become a very popular product and is used all over the world to give construction projects that certain something extra. Clay fine plaster ‘Duro’ is easy to apply. Mix the dry mixture with sufficient water and then apply the material with a plastering trowel. After a short waiting period, smooth the wall again and sweep it with a soft brush until it is dust-free.

Duro

- Composition: Natural clays, sands, and fibers; available with or without straw.
- Features:
  - Unlimited processing time
  - Manual and machine application
  - Moisture and heat regulating
  - Easy to fix and sustainable
  - Vapour-permeable and antistatic
- Application: Suitable for walls and ceilings; can be used on masonry, reed rolls, stone mesh, cement, lime and gypsum plasters, concrete, and various types of board materials.
Available in 9 different options, including variations in color, moisture content (moist/dry), and straw content (with/without straw).

- Texture: Can be applied in thick layers (5–15 mm) for a rustic texture or smoothed for a finer finish.
- Customization: Suitable for various clay building techniques and can be finished with Tierrafino Finish or other topcoats.
