Tadelakt Limeplaster Limemortar Steam bath sauna

Tadelakt lime plaster mortar in a sauna in a private house in Bergen, North Holland. Coloured with a mixture of cobalt blue and mahogany pigments. It took a while to get the colour right. All tadelakt surfaces are finished with a ground semi-precious stone and polished to a high shine.
This very impressive sauna design with Tierrafino Tadelakt lime plaster mortar was designed by the Amsterdam-based architectural firm UNstudio from Amsterdam and executed with our best tadelakt craftsmen Martijn Heinsius and Pavel Pakuza. The homeowner still praises us for this work of art.
