Tierrafino Base is a versatile base coat mortar suitable for plastering load-bearing, uneven, or rough surfaces. It can also serve as a finishing option in interiors. Made from pure, natural clay, Base offers unlimited processing time and can be used in various clay building techniques.

- Composition: Natural clays, sands, and fibers; available with or without straw.
- Features:

  - Manual and machine application
  - Moisture and heat regulating
  - Easy to fix and sustainable
  - Vapour-permeable and antistatic
- Application: Suitable for walls and ceilings; can be used on masonry, reed rolls, stone mesh, cement, lime and gypsum plasters, concrete, and various types of board materials.
Available in 9 different options, including variations in color, moisture content (moist/dry), and straw content (with/without straw).

- Texture: Can be applied in thick layers (5–15 mm) for a rustic texture or smoothed for a finer finish.
- Customization: Suitable for various clay building techniques and can be finished with Tierrafino Finish or other topcoats.
