Mosque

Cologne

The Turkish mosque in Cologne, Germany, approached us with a plan to use ecological building materials such as earthen clay plaster and tadelakt for the entire interior design. We entered into talks and discussions on the subject of design with two Cologne-based artists, the site manager and the architect. The result was a series of beautiful works.

With thanks to all the various craftsmen who, with great sensitivity, were able to give the mosque project that special touch. Earthen plaster and tadelakt walls made by Claude Bickel, Armin Ardi, Carl Giskes, Hendrik Alichmann, Abdelhak Akaboon, Mariette Mountanier and the two artists ladys from Cologne.
