Cord wood Tierrafino in Fruittuin west in Amsterdam. A very beautiful garden house made with students in workshops. Netherlands. The garden owner wants us to build various earth houses in his huge garden. Here is the first one.

Tierrafino cord wood, a construction method widely used in the USA. With thanks to Yvonne de Vries, Carl Giskes seminar leader and the company ‘Stadshout Amsterdam’. With cord wood, pieces of wood sawn to the same length are laid with clay mortar. This creates a completely natural house.
